WACK had a go at tie dying t-shirts… Look at how great they turned out!

On Thursday 9th October, the WACK children spent the evening giving their old T-shirts a new lease of life. They created the white patterns by tying string or wrapping elastic bands around gatherings of the fabric to protect those sections from the dye.

After much deliberation over which colour to choose, they finally got to work on dipping their fabric and leaving it to soak. Thankfully, the children avoided any spillages so we managed not to dye the kitchen floor purple!!

Everyone was so pleased with their finished articles that I’ve seen someone wearing theirs nearly every session since.
